Case Study: White Waxy Corn
Rotenia's organic fertilizer boosted yields by 25%, cut chemical costs, and improved taste.
This case study follows a planting of white waxy corn grown with Rotenia organic fertilizer alongside a conventionally fertilized comparison.
At harvest, the organic plot produced roughly 25% more grain than the control. The farmers also spent less on inputs over the season, since the organic program replaced most of their usual chemical fertilizer.
Buyers noted a difference in eating quality — sweeter, with the sticky texture that white waxy corn is prized for.
Taken together, the result points to the same pattern seen in our other trials: better soil biology supports both yield and quality, while lowering the cash cost of growing.
